falkencreative Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 Anyone else notice how nice the new whitehouse.gov site is? I'm guessing that it's by the same company who redesigned Obama's site. They only had a couple months between the election and now, and it's a pretty large site, so I wonder how much money changed hands... Quote
LSW Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 I went to whitehouse.com years ago... I guess Female employees there are scantily clad... or not at all. No wonder Clinton got in trouble! (I believe the Whitehouse .com site finally bowed out as kids were comming there accidentally so they signed it over to the Gov people.) Quote
DesignBySLS Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/change_has_come_to_whitehouse-gov/ It gives a bit of info about the changes that have been made or are being made. They did the campaign site, transition site and this one... To be honest... when they were not maintaining the other two it would have been a good bet to be hedging their bets and designing the transition site and the White House site. Just my opinion though. Kaizen Maven Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 I just noticed it on Yahoo, this morning. I think it looks great. Gives it a more Web 2.0 look. Quote
falkencreative Posted January 20, 2009 Author Report Posted January 20, 2009 Here are comparison shots... The old site wasn't that bad, but the new one definitely is an improvement. Quote
