Lots of guest users for the old forum

At the moment the old forum shows 2488 Guests, 0 Member and 0 Invisible member

 

while this forum shows 0 guests and 3 members.

 

It makes me wonder who all the guests are who keep the old forum open! They obviously don't look at the page very much; the announcement about the forum move is in big letters.

Well, if you go to the home page for Killersites, the links leading people to the forums still go to the old ones. Stef said that when he updates the rest of the site, he'll fix those links.

A lot of those guests show they are getting an RSS feed - I wonder if that puts them in the online status without them actively being in the forum.

Hmmm... Is there an RSS feed on these new boards?

They have a per forum RSS but not a global one.

Many of the guests will be from search engines which will still mainly be pointing to the old forums, until things start warming up here.

 

There are after all, many useful threads back at the old forums, that people will keep going back to for information.
