JhottelM Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Hello, Anyone who can help on this ~ much appreciated! I took the web classes here and found a website template I like. The only problem is that I don't have the software to open it and modify it. What should I buy? It seems like Adobe Photoshop CS4 will open the templates but do more than just Dreamweaver. Has anyone bought a template and modified them. Does it work well? Thanks in Advance
jlhaslip Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Use a Text Editor to open and edit the Template files. Use a Browser to view the results.
LSW Posted May 4, 2009 Report Posted May 4, 2009 Depends on what kind of file it is. But you really do not need to "Buy" anything. check out the alternative browsers you can use instead of paying big bucks.
newseed Posted May 5, 2009 Report Posted May 5, 2009 Most templates have flash or images that require certain software to edit them such as Flash or Adobe Flash. Otherwise, you need nothing else other than what was mentioned above to edit the files.
