You get reputation by having other users +1 your posts (in the bottom right corner of all posts). Since the forum isn't that active, it's a feature that isn't used all that often.

help! I am following the how-to-build-a-website tutorial (written) and have got stuck! I am working on a MAC and using TextEdit to copy the relevant HTML and CSS content. I have successfully got HTML page to appear through Safari but there is a random semicolon appearing as an artefact on the webpage. I wanted to have a look at the coding on TextEdit again but when I re-open the html file TextEdit won't display the code - any suggestions how I return/reaccess my coding once saved ...

So I'm a newbie. Just started with Web Design 1. Really enjoying it. I already purchased and downloaded the tutorials but saw that you can do it through Killer Site University. How will I be able to get it onto a profile there so that I can also mhave the answers and questions option as well as the Badges option.

Well, here's a quick screenshot: http://falkendev.com/downloads/calendar.gif
Basically, it allows me to keep track of simple tasks that I need to do on a daily basis. If I complete all the tasks in a day, the background of the table cell for that day turns green.
I've set it up as the default page that appears when I open a browser/open a new tab, so I should see it often. I'm hoping that it will help me establish good habits and remember to do the small thin...

I may be around the forums a little less... I've just been super busy recently, and I have to try and prioritize my time at the moment.

Yeah, I'm fine, just super busy with work/school/family stuff. Things should slow down in 3 or 4 weeks when I'm finished with another semester of college, but till then I have to be a bit more careful with my time.

Decided to drop my part time web coding job and go freelance full time starting in early September. Excited for some new opportunites (and perhaps the chance to do more KillerSites related screencasts and such.)

I'll definitely be continuing to work with KillerSites as long as I have the time and Stefan still wants to work with me. =) I can't see that changing anytime soon.

Just emailed my resignation letter to the company I currently work for giving them a few weeks to find someone new. Full time freelancing, here I come! (starting Aug 26th)

Working on my first site built with Concrete5 CMS. It has its quirks, but I'm very impressed so far.

For CMS sites that don't require the blog functionality/flexibility of Wordpress, it seems to be an excellent choice so far.

The main site is built in Light CMS, and Light is coming out with ecommerce features early next month, so I'm holding off an making any decisions until I see what they offer.
