Susie Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 (edited) I'm stumped. My client's Wordpress website was sending messages through the contact form to her hotmail address just fine until I upgraded her to the latest version. Now the form won't send to her hotmail account. It works fine with other email addresses - just not hotmail. Where would you start to fix this? ETA: This is the form we're using: http://www.dagondesign.com/articles/secure-form-mailer-plugin-for-wordpress/. Edited April 9, 2009 by Susie
tpattison Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 The emails aren't being treated as spam, haven't gone into "Junk"? Sounds strange if it's working with other email addresses.
Susie Posted April 10, 2009 Author Report Posted April 10, 2009 (edited) No, the emails aren't going into the junk folders. They are just not being received there at all. It is very strange because I've tested with a couple of my email addresses and it works fine. ?? ETA: I just remembered that I have a hotmail account so I tried it and she's right. It is not being received in hotmail inboxes. Weird! Edited April 10, 2009 by Susie
jlhaslip Posted April 10, 2009 Report Posted April 10, 2009 Are the Spam settings in Hotmail configurable? Check the settings there. Add the Wordpress mail address to their Personal Address book?
