Hey All!

Just wonder if someone can point me in the right direction for my issue? I need to find the easiest way to allow a user I making a website for to be able to edit their own content...Just text is all, no photos but the user has no html experience.

Any ideas?

Any WYSIWIG editor you may use is very likely to mess up your code.

Wordpress would be a good tool for this. You can set specific permissions that would allow your client to log in and work with content only - without giving him the power to do any real damage to the site.

There are a lot of light CMS systems that should be able to help you with this. I'm not sure how well Wordpress would work for you if you need to keep things super simple, since it would require rebuilding the site into a Wordpress template, and it may offer your user too much power to potentially mess things up.

I'm a fan of Perch, which is what I will be using on my next portfolio website. See http://grabaperch.com/
