akurtula Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 (edited) Hi I have seen that some websites have a portfolio as their home page and have their blog either as a sub-domain or as another page, so something like: A) killersites.com/blog B ) blog.killersites.com Is there a logical reason why one would use A or B? Thanks Edited October 4, 2011 by akurtula
daddyalfie Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 You will probably get a more comprehensive answer from the gurus in here, but one logical answer comes to mind and it is simply one of organizing your website into logical modules. Make sense? Alfie
falkencreative Posted October 4, 2011 Report Posted October 4, 2011 I don't think so. It's just a personal choice depending on the URL structure you want.
Tofayel Posted October 6, 2011 Report Posted October 6, 2011 I think its usual and have not any cause.
samuels Posted October 12, 2011 Report Posted October 12, 2011 One reason I can think of is for having a second page that might show up at the search engines.
