  1. PHP is the easiest to learn. But you will need to learn HTML5, some CSS3 as well. Check out my course: https://school.studioweb.com/store/course/complete_web_developer Stef
  2. I am currently updating things here. Welcome!
  3. I am happy to announce that for the first time, we are offering HTML5 certifications for the public on the StudioWeb 5 code training platform. Here is a sample certificate:
  4. Here are my top 10 reasons to not use Ruby: Stef doesn't like it. Stef doesn't like it. Stef doesn't like it. Stef doesn't like it. Stef doesn't like it. Stef doesn't like it. Stef doesn't like it. Stef doesn't like it. Stef doesn't like it. Stef doesn't like it. I hope my arguments make sense.
  5. Wow ... old post. Last argument does not need a semi-colon.
  6. Oops ... I missed this question. My apologies. I assume by now you figured it out. Stef
  7. Hi! Sorry for the long delay. I am now actively on the forum. No ES6 in the immediate future. But you should have enough nerd-skills to learn on your own with a simple YouTube tutorial. Let me know if you need any suggestions. Stef Thanks!
  8. Hi, Could be with some browsers. The good news is that we have released the brand new StudioWeb 5 ... so that issue should no longer exist. Stef
  9. Sorry for missing this. I am now paying attention to the forum. Did you fix this by now ....? I am guessing you did. That said, best thing to do is Google the error message, see what comes up. Stef
  10. Sorry for the looooooooong delay! LOL! I am back on the forums now to answer questions. By now, you probably have a job!
  11. I will be retiring them at some point. But they are just meant to be 'training wheels' ... if you will, so they still have a purpose. As I stated in the introduction video, I would suggest you do 2-3 of the small project courses and then move into any specialization that interest you. So for example, if you want to do Python Django, then do a simple Django video on YouTube or the help docs on the Django site. This goes to PHP Laravel, C# .Net, Node.js etc .... once you've done my foundation courses, you should be able to tackle any project tutorial out there. Hope that makes sense? P.S.: did you finish all my foundation courses?
  12. Ahh ... did you manage to resolve this? I will be monitoring the forums now. Stef
  13. Sorry for the long delay. I will be monitoring the forum now. So, you don't have access to PHPMyAdmin? Stef
  14. I just updated the forum and we decided to breath life back into it! You will now find exclusive content here that you will not find on my YouTube channels. Thanks!

  15. You have to save the document first ... then the color coding will appear.
  16. Perhaps. But nobody wants to use Bitcoin to buy anything ... its' value fluctuates too much.
  17. Hi, Send me an email directly at stefan at studioweb.com and I will take care of it. The activation email must have got lost in your spam box. Thanks for being so patient. Stef
  18. Hi, I would Google that question ... if I recall there is some config file in Sublime to fix this.
  19. Looks like a line-break issue ... or indentation. Be sure the IF the block is properly indented. Stef
  20. Hi, Sorry for the delay. You need to PHP code when the form submission is successful.
  21. Hi, PHP has some libraries / functions that are built into PHP that can speak to databases. But databases don't understand PHP, but it does understand SQL. SQL is the coding language of databases. So, you use the special PHP functions to send SQL commands to the database. Makes sense?
  22. Hi, It is just you link code ... be sure the tag is closed properly. Stef
  23. Hi, Just download any of these, and install them. Or, if you have PHP hosting, just upload your files there. Let me know how it goes.
