Corinne
My friend wants me to redo her site, it is in tables (lots and lots of tables). She is ranked very well with many key words. If I redo her site will this effect the page ranking? Is it better to leave as is and just change some pictures and reduce the clutter. Thank you for your help. Wickham
If she has the same url, the same meta tags for content and description, the same title and the same content, the coding should not make any difference. It may even increase the ranking slightly as search engines take into account how often the site is updated, so if it hasn't been updated for months they may move it up a little. Corinne
Thank you..... I was hoping that was the case, her site is with in the top 5 depending on search and I did not want to change that for the worse on her. I am just learning webdesign and have only done 3 sites. I am learning soooo much from this site, I really appreciate all the help you and everyone else gives. One day hopefully I can do the same. Have a great day, Corinne
