All I want to do is send out an email blast containing a link to my theater company's newsletter. The newsletter is a PDF. I'm using iContact to email our thousands of supporters but Can't get the link to work. The link that should lead them to the pdf file that is our Newsletter.

The file is on our website: www.robeytheatrecompany.com --- I created the hyperlink that is on the website in Microsoft Publisher and it works fine. "CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE WINTER/SPRING...."

I then created another page in Publisher, with a supposed link to the PDF file but it doesn't work half the time and when it does work it only works on the computers on our network. ??????? so confused.

I just want to be able to send out A Mass email with a link to our newsletter pdf. I want the PDF to pop up with no problems.

Help, Please.

It has to be on a web server...

The current link online is file://///sv-001/public/Ben%27s%20My%20Documents/Robey%20Newsletters/winter-spring%202009.pdf... so apprently on a physical server in your network. Anyone not in the network cannot reach it. It needs to be http://www.whatever.com/whatever.pdf.

Also never leave spaces in names, it can cause all sorts of headaches. %20 is plank spaces in the names. %27 is '. You should not even have folders with ' on your netwrok and especially not on web servers. Drop all spaces in file names and either use a -, each word starting as a cap and placed together or even Undelines... though that is not the best.

BensMyDocuments/Robey-Newsletters/winter-spring2009.pdf for instance
