Andrea
Start out with the basics - HTML and CSS. You can use Dreamweaver, but use the code feature, so you can learn what's behind all the hoopla. Nothing wrong with using templates as long as they are well-designed and coded, and once you figured out the essentials, you'll be able to tell what's good and what's code-garbage. Andrea
You don't have to buy the videos - scroll down to under the video and you'll find a series of free, online tutorials. They are a very good way to start you out.
