How to add an e-book on wordpress

Hi All,

 

I understand in Joomla how to add a pdf and a link to it. More importantly, I know where to store the doc. and create the link. But how do you do it in WP?

 

Any help would be fantastic,

You can upload the document in one of two places:

 

-- Once you log into the WP admin, you can access the "Media" tab and upload the file there. Once the file is uploaded, Wordpress will provide you the URL (which is "uploads" folder on the server.)

 

-- You can also upload a document when you are creating/editing a post or page. To do that, click the badge/sun shaped icon that is next to the "Upload/Insert" text right above the main content text area. Of the four icons, which allow you upload/insert images, video, etc. it is the one to the furthest right. Again, after you upload the file Wordpress will provide you with the URL to the uploaded file.

I never considered a PDF, media, but that sure makes sense!
