You can do this in one of two ways (that I can think of, at least.)

 

-- If you want your text to change per category, there is a "description" field you can set within the categories section of the WP admin. That should display (assuming you are using the default 2010 template) below the category template.

 

-- If you want the same text between categories, you can edit the category template. I think that is "category.php," but I'd need to double check.

But how do I edit the category template?

Is it just to insert a div and hardcode the text to the "category.php"?
