My client has hired a new in-house manager who has completely redone the web site I wrote for this client 4 years ago. (The client asked him to.) He created the site using iweb on his new MAC. On the site home page (not the Welcome page), if the customer viewing the site is using IE, the G&G Productions menu item works differently than if the customer viewing the web site is using Firefox or Safari. I have looked, used Find on the source code, and searched though ALL the source files on the web site looking for the href that is used for this menu item. I can not find the code that is being executed for this menu item, or the other 3 menu items. Here is the url for the web page that is working incorrectly: www.ggshows. G&G_Productions. h t m l The underscore IS needed to find the correct page. The G & G Productions menu item in the yellow horizontal band is what is working wrong with IE.

If you look at this page: www.ggshows.com/BK_SPR_XBTR.h t m l, what was yellow on the other page, is blue here. But here the G & G Productions menu item works correctly with IE or Firefox or Safari.

Could someone explain what in the world is going on here?

Thanks!

iWeb? I would say surely you are joking... but clearly you are not. *Shudder*

Unfortunately the site is blocked by our filters so I cannot see it. Someone will get around to it, hold tight. I am one of the later ones in the forum due to the time zones, most will be back in the morning.

My first thought is that it may be using includes... but with programs like iWeb, there is no telling what weird stuff they are doing.

*Shudder* is exactly how I felt/feel! I've looked in all the includes I could find, CSS files, etc. but to no avail! Thanks for the response. Looking forward to other time zones now!

Looks like some kind of script that is generating that menu. This is the code that I suspect is produced:

What a mess.
