TSR
I'm stuck, where should I go from where I have gotten with the design? Or should I bunch it and start over. Here is the site www.kylerba rraza.com [remove spaces]
falkencreative
All that is on your site is a splash page... and a link to a image on Photobucket...? ... and "coming" is misspelled.
TSR
Oh shoot I did. Splash Page? I'm seeking different opinions on where to align the margins and divs. Maybe what to add to the design and stuff. I'm going through a brain fart right now. Haha. falkencreative
What are you using to make this? Cuz the code that it is producing has some significant issues... incorrectly placed tags, depreciated tags, etc...
TSR
I prototype my sites in homestead sitebuilder, then I create them in Dreamweaver.
Andrea
I don't know - the code you have so far is the same as the one used on the webdesign site - incomplete and incorrect doctype and 2 sets of tags, and if you're planning on building this like the design site, you'll also have a mess of internal styling and improper use of deprecated tags. I find it much more helpful to worry about proper coding long before I worry about margins - besides, since we have no clue what you're planning on putting onto that page, and how many divs you may need and what will go in them, how could we tell you how to align them??? lm
I prototype my sites in homestead sitebuilder, then I create them in Dreamweaver. May be you have the reason to "prototype" in sitebuilder but it is more common to draw the layout first (on a paper or in Photoshop) and then code. All builders generate mess of a code which is almost impossible to clean up and besides it really not worth anybody's time.
