How do I indent text on my web page or in HTML?

There are three ways to do this:

 

-- add a left margin using CSS

-- add a left padding using CSS

-- add a text-indent (which I believe only indents the first line)

 

For example:

 

<p class="indent">Text here... text here... text here..</p>

 

and in your CSS stylesheet:

 

.indent { padding-left:20px; }
