ajlic Posted May 18, 2021 Report Posted May 18, 2021 Hello, I just started the course but the option to open with sublime text doesn't appear when I select multiple files and right click. I would have to right click each .html file and use "open with" to open them. In the videos Stefan could select all of them, right click, and open with sublime text. Any way to do this? I'm on windows 10 btw.
administrator Posted May 24, 2021 Report Posted May 24, 2021 Hi, Did you solve the problem. Sorry for the delay?
ajlic Posted May 28, 2021 Author Report Posted May 28, 2021 Hi Stefan, No I haven't solved the problem. I've just been opening them one by one. I don't know if opening multiple files at the same time is useful in the real world, but I just thought it would be nice if I could do that. Would I need to use windows 8 maybe? It looked like you were using an older version of windows on you videos.
mattoverstrom Posted July 5, 2021 Report Posted July 5, 2021 You could just open the entire folder within the text editor and then use shortcuts to lookup a particular file. Do you have sublime, vs code, or another text editor installed and open?
mattoverstrom Posted July 6, 2021 Report Posted July 6, 2021 It's command + P on mac to lookup files in VS code. ctl + P I think it is on windows- just google shortcut to lookup files sublime text or whichever editor you're using. Hope this helps. Would think these shortcut commands to navigate vs code would be more for the real world as well.
