Saving a file in a sub folder

Learning HTML on Windows, I created a sub folder called sub_pages with three files, in the main folder.  Whenever I save any of the files that are in the sub folder in Sublime Text, the file will appear in the main folder, I now have two files, one in the sub folder, and the main folder, breaking the code.  How do I save a file in the sub folder, without it reappearing in the main folder?
