I was wondering what is the difference between Brochure Style and Catalogue Style website Design?

I'm sure there will be various answers depending upon who you ask, but in my mind a brochure style website is one that showcases a company's products and services without a shopping cart. I think of it like an online version of a print brochure. And I think of a catalogue website as one powered by a shopping cart so that visitors can make online purchases.
