daddyalfie
I (minimally) use some PHP for "includes" and check them locally using WAMP. My computer defaults to FireFox as a browser. Is there an easy "switch" so I can test my pages in IE before uploading them to a server? Thanx Alfie
falkencreative
Well, since you have to use localhost to preview PHP files, I'd just suggest opening up Firefox, copying the URL, and then pasting it into IE. You can change the default web browser on your machine temporarily (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Change-your-default-web-browser) but that probably isn't necessary, and you'd have to change it back again after. daddyalfie
What an obvious solution! Works like a charm and I feel stupid not to have thought of it myself! Thanks!
youngros
F12 for me opens the Firefox browser, which is my default. Ctrl F12 opens it with Opera, can be set to which browser you require but I can't remember how.

You are probably using DW to test and it can be set by clicking on File - Preview in Browser and at the bottom of the list Edit Browser List. Or from the toolbar, click on the image that looks like a map of the globe and choose/edit your browser.
