Susie
Just wondering about the best way to handle photos that I'm including in my kids' school newspaper. The copies will be black/white on canary yellow paper. Should I make them grayscale (or black & white) for the best and clearest printing or leave them in color? Hmmm..... falkencreative
Probably better to convert them yourself -- you can tweak the contrast using Curves if necessary. Better to know exactly how they will look when printed, rather than hoping they turn out well.
Susie
Okay, I will convert them. I'm not sure what you mean by Curves, though. Here's how I just did one and it looks like it will print well on their copier (which usually makes things too dark): Image > Adjustments > Black & White > Maximum White preset. Sound okay? falkencreative
Sounds fine. If you need to adjust the tones in the image, look at Images -> Adjustments -> Curves. It'll allow you to adjust contrast and make minor modifications.
