wolfkin Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 I'm helping a friend of a friend out with his website. He's a photographer and he want obviously a website to serve as an online portfolio, showcase his work, and offer prints. I'd like to do some research on what exactly a high end photographer's website should look like. Where do these guys hang out I'd like to see what sort of things I should be doing. If you have a suggestion for a CMS that can handle it I'm open to suggestions.
newseed Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 This one I have used a few times and it quite good. It will do just about everything they need...display a portfolio, clients' prints, purchase, watermarks, customer accounts, etc. They have a forum that seems to have a few photographers that frequents there. wolfkin Posted June 8, 2009 Author Report Posted June 8, 2009 thank you. I'm not sure about the cart. at least not yet but the forums seems lively enough to be a good jump off point.
lm Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 Veer has the Marketplace where photographers can promote themselves. Also I think his website is one of the most advanced so could be a good example.
