Mysql Fields - Making A Dvd Db. How Do I Link A Url?

Hi guys,

 

Just practicing here making a mock database for my DVD collection. Im brand new to this.

 

I have made a few fields for DVD title and date etc etc. But I want to add a field that would allow me to link to the official film website.

 

From the options in myPHPadmin, what field type would I select?

Since there isn't a type specifically for URLs, you would just select a text or varchar type with enough characters for your url.

Check out mysql's information on datatypes to get a grasp of the knowledge. This is required learning if you plan on seriously using MySQL.
