Scotty13
I'm ready to launch my website to the world and I'm looking for advice on an excellent virus program for free or even a yearly fee. I have a Dell PC and using Windows 7. I built my own social network website from scratch with Dreamweaver CS4. Any information and suggestions will greatly be appreciated. Thank you, Scott

vincewicks
There is no way from your side to protect own site with some of antivirus program. Take care about your website security, find and fix security holes.
LSW
Your web site sits on a server, security is server level, therefore it is handled by the host. I am aware of no way to run a virus program from your site. That is like your PC, the PC runs AV programs like the server does. Your web site is no more than a folder on that server like a folder on your PC. You cannot run a virus program from within a folder just for that folder. newseed
You can scan for exploits and other related issue using this internet driven tool. It will not fix any problems but it will certainly let you know if you have any known issues.
grabenair
The best thing that you can do is would have wrote your php with security in mind as you were writing it. Bad code is what hackers like the most.
