Hi,

Don't know if this is the right place, first time used.

I want to put an excel workbook into a webpage for visitors to use (although I only want them to see the first page), and is it possible to set it up so that they cannot mess about the actual workings within the wookbook i.e the only part that they can edit are the inputs?

Thanks

Graham

No, you cannot insert an xls file into a webpage (and just ignore the 'save as webpage' option in excel). Unless you publish something like a wikipedia, your visitors cannot change the content on your pages.

Can you be a bit more specific about what you want to accomplish?

Hi,

Thanks for that. Yes, I want to put a "Solar PV Calculator" on a webpage, where visitors can input various items of data, and the results will be shown.

Thanks
