Bottom div "stuck" below 2 floats

What is this called (and what's the solution)....when you have a bottom div (let's say a footer) and it comes after two floated divs, and it's stuck to the bottom of those floated divs. You can apply padding and margins to the footer and no matter what, it won't move down.....

You have to clear the floats. Put this below the floats and above the div needing to be moved.

Your welcome. You may run into some un wanted height with that simple code though. If so, use this instead...

clear:both;

line-height:0;

height:0;

font-size:0; /* kills IE6 bug */

}
