Susie Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 I have no idea if you would call what I'm looking for a tooltip or not. And I'm not even sure it's a Javascript thing. I was hoping you guys could help me figure this out. You know how sometimes you can hover over a link and it'll show you an image of the webpage it's linking to? I have 2 clients who are requesting this type of feature. I've searched, but I haven't found anything and it's probably because I don't know what to call it. Help? Quote
Susie Posted February 17, 2009 Author Report Posted February 17, 2009 Okay, I now have an example of what one of my clients wants. http://www.templatemonster.com/ Hover over an image on the right. Quote
monkeysaurus Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Hi Susie, tweeted this a moment ago, but I'll post here for posterity too. One solution is here: http://cssglobe.com/post/1695/easiest-tooltip-and-image-preview-using-jquery Option two is what I think you're looking for. Quote
Susie Posted February 17, 2009 Author Report Posted February 17, 2009 Thanks!! I will take a look at this and everyone's suggestions! Isn't Twitter great? Quote
PicnicTutorials Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 You didn't like the Jessica Beil's butt one? You can do it with pure CSS also. Although the jQuery one ain't bad! Quote
