Hello. I am a very beginner. Just started with Stefan's video classes. I typed all text on Notepad and saved as .txt after that I saved the same document as.html but the meta tag appears (displayed) at the top of the browser page.What is meta tag. how can i remove it from the browser window? Thank you.

My guess is that your file is actually named filename.html.txt, which a browser will interpret as a text file rather than an HTML file. Try the instructions above. If those don't work, can you post the code that you see when you open the file in your browser?
