Guest Jess
I know I want to be a web designer, but I?m having a hard time finding a university to transfer to so I can get my bachelors. I am current going to Delaware County Community College and I am looking for a university in the Philly area. The University of the Arts has a program to program transfer. If you get your A.A.S in Interactive Media with at least a 3.0 you are awarded junior status. That would be awesome, but the tuition is unaffordable at $30,000. My school also has transfer agreements with University of Phoenix and DeVry, but I don?t trust those schools. I have been looking at job listings and some say they require a degree in graphic design, some just say design, some say web design. Its all confusing. administrator
Hi, You should watch my video on web design vs. graphic design - it may help. And you may want to read these articles: http://www.killersites.com/magazine/2009/the-dubious-advantages-of-a-web-design-degree/ http://www.killersites.com/blog/2010/the-future-of-web-design-as-a-career/ PS: be very, very careful about taking on student loan debt ... it can be very dangerous financially. I hope that helps, Stefan
