I was looking for a website that showed different examples of typography and the CSS definitions and the same for lists, ordered and unordered, tables and forms. If you could recommend any I would appreciate it.

I'm not sure if the CSSBasics link will help you much...

 

As far as standard fonts installed on most computers (so you know which ones are available for use):
