Linking My Pages

I have gone thru the steps of setting up my pages but have hit a little bump in the road. This step seems so simple but I van't seem to get thru it. I have followed the video to the letter but can't I still cannot seem to link my pages together. When I attempt to copy a page to my index.html page, and try to paste the link, I do not get the option to paste. What am I missing!! This sould not be this difficult.

Which video are you following? And what program are you working in?

 

If you're using Dreamweaver, just drag the file name of the link you want to appear into the page you want it to appear in.

 

In HTML, to create a link to, let's say from index.html to contact.html, just add

Contact Us

in case you want to link from your site to killersites, the code would be

Are you properly adding the link.? Make sure you are adding ..// to move up to the folder which you are linking
