Guest gallery2000 Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 Hi, My site http://www.yndweb.com is fine with all other web browers except IE 6. Please help me fix it so it can properly display in IE6.
Andrea Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 I don't have IE6, so I cannot see what it's doing, but I'm surprised it looks ok in Firefox - 55 Validation errors, and that with an improper XHTML transitional doctype - styles between the and tag, deprecated and semantically misused tags, and you can probably drop the IE5 support. [EDIT] As I'm reading the next post, I actually remember http://ipinfo.info/netrenderer/ - a link someone posted here a while back. Now I can see what's wrong in IE6. Also, I noticed the missing title - not anything that will affect page display, but a helpful feature that shouldn't be neglected.
Guest eppand Posted April 17, 2009 Report Posted April 17, 2009 You might try floating your #mainContent left. Fixing the HTML errors surely won't hurt and that is where I would start.
