  1. I have a client who is a musician and would like to have users be able to download one of his MP3. When I use this code <a href="http://www.domain.com/audio/filename.mp3">download here </a> It just takes you to a page and starts playing the song. I would like the user to be able to save the file to their hard drive. I've been Googling for a couple hours and can't find a solution, does anybody know of one. Thank you, in advance
  2. I was wondering if any one knows if we are free to use CMS icons (Wordpress, Drupal, and Joomla) on our website, in promoting services we provide. And if so where to get them.
  3. Any one know why a down loadable pdf file of a coupon I made with acrobat on a website I built shows up to the end user at 300-400 %
  4. Thank you all for the advice. Last month I decided on pc I bought a new Toshiba Portege, It is thin, lite, and really nice, Its pretty much a Mac book air clone.
  5. At this place in time is html 4 still better than xhtml 1.1
  6. Hi all, I have always been a PC girl. I buy a new Toshiba every 2-3 years. I use Dreamweaver to build websites. I have been looking at the mac's and really like them a lot, and I am due for a new computer. Can any one who has used both tell me the pros and cons of both? Thanks Terri
  7. Thank you Ben for your answer I ended up photo shopping a background image of the same color as the sidebar at the same width and 10 px high and repeated y. Than I made it the background for container div and it works great. And thank you to the other people that gave answers.
  8. Is there any easier way like changing settings in the DW css panel anyone?
  9. Hi all, I'm a little new at dream weaver and brand new at this forum. I have built a couple of websites with DW CS5 but I am on my first one with a sidebar. The layout is fixed with header, footer, and sidebar on left, all inside of a container div Here is my question, some of my pages on the website have more content in the content div, and the div grows downward with the more content I put in, but the sidebar does not grow downward with the content div. And with this site some pages with a lot of content and others having less. How do I keep my sidebar running from my header all the way to my footer on every page regardless off page height?
