I am a freelancer, as well. Most of my work is for direct clients, but I do have a couple graphic designers that hire me to code their designs and/or transfer them to content management systems.
How are you guys keeping track of client information? For example, I have a client for whom I set up numerous email accounts and I need to keep track of all the passwords. I was writing everything in my notebook, but it's getting to be too much. I guess I could set up a spreadsheet for each client (if I knew how...I've never worked with spreadsheets). I wish there were an application out there that were set up for this sort of thing.
So, how do you do it?
I use HostGator and am pretty happy with them. I also use InMotion Hosting for some of my clients' sites. The only thing I'm not sure of, though, is whether either of them accept monthly payments.
Also, I've had trouble before if I have the links in the wrong order. If you already knew this, I apologize for repeating it, but they should be in this order:
Link
Visited
Focus
Hover
Active

Well, if you go to the home page for Killersites, the links leading people to the forums still go to the old ones. Stef said that when he updates the rest of the site, he'll fix those links.
I don't really see why we'd need to have a dedicated forum for the popular blogs/cms pkgs. Maybe in the future? Seems like a lot of the postings these days are about html/css rather than blogs and cms. A dedicated WP forum might be good if you're going to release a bunch of stuff related to that.
