HI,

I´m intressted in displying the (metadata) the_date similar to this site,

(under Upcoming Clinics) http://www.sabian.com/en/articles

My code ( that doesn´t work),

<div class="newsFeed">

<span class="date">

<span class="month"><?php the_date('F'); ?></span>

<span class="number"><?php the_date('j'); ?></span>

</span>

<div class="newsThumb"></div>

Any easy way to solve that?

You've checked the Wordpress reference for the_date(), right? http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_date

One thing that immediately comes to mind: do you have this section of code within a Wordpress loop? (http://codex.wordpress.org/The_Loop) Is it getting other post information fine (the post title, for example), and just not displaying the date?
