jibberish Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Hi, I've only just started learning about web design and it was going pretty well. When loading up my website from my pc the HTML files link to the CSS file perfectly fine. As soon as I uploaded all of my files onto a host server with a new domain name the CSS file now completely ignores the HTML files http://www.elliesdesigns.co.uk The top of my html code is: Ellie's Designs The CSS file is named default.css I've checked the capitals & the css file is saved in the same location as the HTML file. anyone have any suggestions? Thank you Quote
Susie Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Hi there, I get a 403 error when visiting your link. Can you verify that it's correct and we'll take a look? Quote
jibberish Posted March 2, 2009 Author Report Posted March 2, 2009 (edited) Ok, the link should work now... I'm using the explorer Google Chrome and when i use that link the website shows without the CSS file... Yet when i load up the link in Internet Explorer it works fine... Is there something I'm missing? Edited March 2, 2009 by jibberish Quote
Wickham Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 It works for me in Google Chrome, IE7 and Firefox so clear your cache in Chrome and try again. Quote
