Hi All, I will start by introducing myself I am a marketing student in the final year of my degree in Ireland. We have covered multimedia last year and this year were doing web development...We will be using dreamweaver and I am a week into study allready, So far we havnt touched dreamweaver were going over HTML doing real basic stuff learning tags and things like that which of course is vital to a new kid on the block. I dont think were moving onto dreamweaver cs3 for another couple of weeks however we were given our assessment guidelines this week and they are basiclaly to create a fully functional website for a real business in 12 weeks ...to be honest Im hopefull I will do well, hard work and long hours dont scare me I just want to make sure I learn more than we do in class to give me an edge and hopefully get a first when i graduate...Anyhow thats enough boring crap about me the question I have is that I know an Indian Restaurant that currently want a website and I feel this would be a good one to use ...I mean were not supposd to set the world alight but something like this could help me do well....However the lecturer told us that the business has to have a selling part to it which must be included in the site ie a shopping cart type set up...As I am thinking of doing a website I was wondering is it extremely difficult to have an integrated booking system for the restaurant takeaway included in the website ? My other choice would be a pottery and art shop nearby who would display and sell their products online ...Any tips would be greatly recieved as I want to get stuck in straight away on this....
