  1. yes it did work, I am really excited about that concept. I would like to show you the completed workup. There is not much data but its what I have learned straight from the tutorials. You guys are amazing. I dont want to get flagged for spam but this is what I can do now straight from notepad just by watching your basic web developer course. d e v.sschlangen(dot)org. that is the site. I didnt want to link to it directly because I think I read a stick somewhere on it, but if you would like to see my progress there she is. I am wiped, ready for some sleep. Thanks for all you do Killer Shrek
  2. Hey killer, I am stumped on this for some reason, I am trying to get together this banner, and I am placing two images side by side. here is the html: <a href="index.html"><img src="images/ralph.jpeg " border="0"></a> <div id="topBanner"> <a href="index.html"><img src="images/topBanner.png " border="0"></a> </div> and the CSS #topBanner{ position:absolute; left:300px; top:7px; } I put it in the division tag so I could place it right where I wanted it, but when the screen is not maximized, it doesn't adjust. what i mean is you have to view it full screen in order to see it all lined up....what I was thinking was if I place the whole thing in a div, but I don't know how to position it accordingly. So in short is there a css style to make that container adjust when not being viewed in the browser fullscreen? Or am I going about this all wrong? Thanks in advance Shrek PS I cant attach what I am seeing, images are to big
  3. I do appreciate the response, and all stated above is what I am currently doing. I will be 100% honest these video's cover everything I want to expand on as a web developer, and here in a few weeks I will be upgrading. As I said above this is far superior to any other service I have used, and of course this just MHPO. The forums are great and the video's are very well organized and easy to understand. I had a strong foundation for html and css when I started viewing the videos, and I was shown trick and helpful hints in the videos that are going to help out in the future. All I have to say is Killer has given me a upper hand, and I appreciate all the hard work you and the rest of the killer staff has put into this site. Have a great day Shrek
  4. One of the things I am worried about going through the first course, is will the instructor allow me to type out the code, because I wont have access, and even more that concerns me is when I start positioning images and styling with CSS will I have a option to find the same image the instructor is using. I don't mind putting in the extra work, in fact I prefer this, but I dont want to be behind because I can't position the same image or logo because I don't have that access. I don't know if that is really clear or not, but so far I have been able to copy what he has by pausing the video and typing it out. CSS is coming up and I am worried I wont be able to participate because i don't have all the stuff to do the work. Do you understand? I wish I would of paid attention to the agreement. I thought I would have full access to the tutorials. So far so good and the video's are by far the best and this is coming from a person who paid for your competitors "Lynda, VTC, and CBT nuggets, as well as other books I had access to from my local library. Wish me luck Shrek
  5. I should of seen that when I signed up. Sorry about that Shrek
  6. Hello, I was wanting to get some assistance on this, I am trying to download the work files associated with the web design course, and its grayed out and states "premium"..... I have logged out and logged back in, and reset cache, and history etc etc. Still cant download the work files. I paid for the three month subscription, is this not premium enough? Thanks in Advance Shrek
  7. Taking my first dive into the community forums, if I am not back in a few days well then I will be back when I am done learning :)
