Yes, there's a link to a company that sells a service. I think I checked it out before, and you have to pay a monthly fee... I was hoping for a script that I can use, or at least something I could figure out myself (and learn in the process).

Thank you very much, but because of the way my site is set up, I want to avoid the user choice option. Any kind of user choice would basically mean killing the splash page with the animation. I've had a lot of good responses to that animation, and I would really rather keep it.

Hi, I have a website in English, that I want to keep as it is. I need to have the site in German, too, and would like to present a German version right from the start. I know there is a way of finding out the visitors geolocation, and I would like to use that to present the correct language. Basically, I want to keep the English version for every country except for Germany. Because I have an animated Splash page with English words, I can't have an option for the visitors to choose (I would have to display the same splash page in German - not a great solution to this problem).
