  1. Hi! A couple of days ago I was updating a site I built with my Dreamweaver 8 in 2007. I began to notice that the header graphic had disappeared in all the pages I had open. I checked the link to the header in the master template but the link was good. Suddenly the whole design half of the page went white. All of the other local sites work in DW 8 but this one site. I can open the .html pages ok from this one site in Dreamweaver 8 but none of the .php pages. When I try the code half shows the code but it is grayed-out looking and the design half won't show at all. DW 8 freezes up immediately, the little animated blue circle in windows continues to spin and I have to shut it down using task manager. Again, all the other local sites work fine, both .html and .php pages open right up. Any ideas about what my trouble could be, please? I'd LOVE to not have to rebuild this site from scratch. Thank you, SouthCountryMom
  2. I recently got a new computer running Win 7 & IE9. When I visit a site I built and maintain ( http://tiptongop.org ) the Top III Navigational Menu ( http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/topmen3/index.htm ) doesn't show at all. When I click the compatibility button it does show but that button says that it is to be used for sites developed to be viewed in 'older' browsers. How can I fix this problem and what have I missed since this site was built in '08 and can be viewed fine in IE8? Also, I use Dreamweaver 8 and I hope that my sites are not falling 'behind the times' because of this. Any help/advice/opinions will be appreciated!
