Hi All I shall explain a little about the situation so you can help to the fullest - hopefully. I run my own website and forum promoting a town on the island where i live. I used to work for another company as moderator on their site (unpaid) when my posts all mysteriously disappeared I decided enough was enough and I would start up my own site. My domain is ayianapaexposed.com the site is doing OK, but in no way a real competitor to another site which has been online for many years (we've been online just 1 year). Anyway AYIA NAPA (is the english way of spelling the town ) whereas AGIA NAPA is the greek way. The other site has registered agianapaexposed.com and it directs to their site. I have been promoting my site (costs all to me - I am not a company) with free advertising for some companies, job offers for tourists etc, and now it seems my hard work is being hijacked by the other company. I did it just as something to do in my spare time, but now I am really ticked off! Can I do anything about it? Or is it just a case of all if fair in love and war??

Hi All Firstly thanks to the people who helped with my last set of queries. I now have started on a new site and it is totally different , it is a free flash template. OK so I have managed to change the text, change the song, change some of the pictures (that's ongoing)(all in notepad) , but my question is this..... Ok the website is www.starskysayianapa.com (it's a club I work in in the summer ). I am seeing it fine on my computer (IE) my friend in Italy is seeing it fine also (IE) but my husband on both of our other networked computers is seeing the dropped column. Thanks for the help.

HI all Here is yet another problem I am having. I did search the archives for this and could not find what I was looking for. I have found some code as I want to embed video (but don't want to use you-tube). Here is the code: STANDBY="Loading Windows Media Player components..." I am getting the player when I preview the page but no video! Further info: The site is still only on my computer. Nothing is uploaded to the www yet. Can any one help, or am I just being stupid? Hi All Thanks for the help with my last topic. I now have a new problem. I want to add some songs to my website (in a player ) tracks 1 - 4. I googled and found some info that reffered to a M3U txt file. I did this and then copied the html code which was supplied changing the info from their playlist to my playlist. All seemed easy enough, BUT it won't work. Ended up removing the code from my site (still using NVU) and have since lost the site I was referring to. Has anyone got any ideas how I can make a simple playlist and have it as a "jukebox" on my site which people can click to play (so as not to annoy people in the library etc etc :-) ) I also tried Yagosta.com but that doesn't seem to work either the player is there but no music when I hit play. Please help x

Hi All, Ok I have been learning a little about web design over the past few months. Firstly here's some background: I am of British origin but now live in Cyprus and work in one of the busiest towns there (Ayia Napa), I decided to make a website / forum to help others who may be visiting Napa (either for holidays or work). My friend designed the website and we put it online. But I decided I wanted a different design so after hunting through some templates I found one I liked. (Cheating I know, HTML will be learnt as I go along ;-)) The website is now online, but something that really annoys me is when I point to a link there is this horrible white box around the words. I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of it, but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas. My website is www.ayianapaexposed.com Thanks in advance, it's driving me to distraction!!:-(
