  1. As usual Ben, right on the money. Thanks! Kit
  2. Can anyone help me identify my problem with my simple html email newsletter... As you can see from the file which I have uploaded to the URL below, there are a couple of issues. Firstly, there is a gap in between the white content area and also, the paragraph text over flows outside the width of the div tag! I have looked all over the code for the problem but just cannot find it and I'm starting to pull my hair out:)... Any help would be much appreciated.... http://vojodesign.com/proofs/SMS
  3. Ah yes, I was looking at the #indexBtnDownload ul which did not have margin-left - I did not see that I has specified margin-left for the overall ul tag. Thanks Ben
  4. This has been bugging me big time. I cant identify anything in my css that would indicate why the div named #indexBtnDownload appears to have a left margin (the big blue button that reads "Request Real Estate Securities Information"). It should be lined up flush left with the paragraph above it... http://vojodesign.com/proofs/bridgeEquities Anyone?
  5. Perfect! Thanks Falken. Hey, do you know how to remove that dotted outline from the button when it is clicked in Firefox? Kit
  6. Hi, I have a pop-up that is pretty long in height so I need it to be able to scroll - as it is now, the window does not give the option to scroll even though the window does not fit on my screen. It also does not show the scoll bar when I shrink the window down hiding all the content in the window. I'm not sure if this is a javascript problem or a quick simple css fix. To see what I mean, click on the "REQUEST MORE INFORMATION" button here... http://vojodesign.com/proofs/jacquelynHernandez/website/index.html Can anyone help? Thanks Kit
  7. Ah, beautiful. Thanks very much guys.
  8. Yah, that's how I had it before...but now see... http://vojodesign.com/proofs/jacquelynHernandez/website/index.html The anchor (the "roll-overable" area) drops down below the bottom of the blue nav bar - which I dont want. I only want to get the finger when you mouse over the blue area. Kit
  9. Hi, I am trying to position my anchor tags so that when any part of the blue nac bg is hovered over that individual button it activates the hover state. However I cannot seem to position the text so that it is centered in the blue bar while keeping the hover state only over the blue button...does that make sense? Take a look here... http://vojodesign.com/proofs/jacquelynHernandez/website/index.html As you can see the text is too high up in the blue bar...but when I add top-padding to the anchor tag, it only makes the "hoverable section drop down below the bottom of the blue bar Let me know if I am not explaining myself well enough. Any help fixing this would be much appreciated. Thanks Kit

    Footer Problem

Yes, that fixes the issue for the "Our Program" page but because I am using floats on #contentHomeLeft and #contentHomeright divs, it screws the home page up now... http://vojodesign.com/proofs/jacquelynHernandez/website/ourProgram.html http://vojodesign.com/proofs/jacquelynHernandez/website/index.html I guess my question should now be, how do I get #contentHome to expand to allow room for those two floating divs? Thanks

    Bullet Styling

Is there a way to style bullets so that the second line is justified with the top line? As you can see in the unordered list at the URL below the second line is too far left - I would like it to line up with the first line of each individual bullet. How do I achieve that? http://www.bloomslearning.com/elearning.html
  17. Ah!!! Now I understand. Thanks very much for your help. Could you do me a favor and text it for me in IE6 and 7? I dont have either... http://vojodesign.com/proofs/bloomsLearning/ Thanks again
  18. hmmm, tried what you suggested but giving the width to the li large enough so that "Revision Courses" stays on one line is also creating way too much space between the other links! Do you know what I mean?
  19. As far as I know, when a div is absolutely positioned it does interfere or take up any of the space of the div in which it is contained.
  20. Thanks for your help Wickham. I'll give that a go. However, #bloomsLogo is absolutely positioned - this should not take up any space inside the 900 px right?
  21. Hi everyone, My navigation looks fine in all browsers but not in IE6..it looks terrible in IE6...take a look... http://vojodesign.com/proofs/bloomsLearning/ Anyone know the problem and how to fix it? Thanks Kit
  22. That's because I fixed it (see my previous post).
  23. Got it. The probelm was the 100% height on the HTML selector. Thanks anyways.
