  2. Hi, I want to make a two columns website, where the right column and the left column stretch to height of the main content div, and basically if one div is higher than the other I want the shorter column to stretch with it (just like if I do it with a table, then both of the tds have the same height) here is a simple code of what I'm trying to do, also I was wondering if this is possible without setting height to the main div? thanks for any help <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <

    xml and php

Hi, I just started watching the videos about loading data from XML file, and I was wondering, how can I add data to the XML file with php? I googled it, and basically found nothing useful(does it so complicated???), I thought it's a common thing...
  5. well I don't know how...but it works thanks!!! :D
  6. that's right....Dreamweaver makes it look perfect anyway I found out this at the company I work I looked at the Hebrew websites we have and I found out that in the include files they actually type unknown symbol/letters to make it look good,it looks like that <li><a href="reshet.html">øùú à'</a></li> <li><a href="reshet-b.html">øùú á'</a></li> <li><a href="reshet-g.html">øùú â'</a></li> <li><a href="bil.html">øùú ã' (òøáéú)</a></li> <li><a href="kol.html">÷åì äîåæé÷ä</
  7. no...the include letters/symbols are same in both pages as I said before if i just put it as pure HTML is 100% ok... I tried "google" this... and found that if i put this in the top, the "include Hebrew" works good but then all the "other Hebrew" is ruined <?php header('Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf8'); ?> really weird...
  8. btw, I don't mind giving u the accesse to the hosting, I just wanna solve this ASAP
  9. well... please don't don't laugh, this is like 20 minutes of working on a template, I just got stuck in the middle of changing it form English to Hebrew I don't know how will u differ form Hebrew and Gibberish, but I'll give it a shot anyway... http://shina411.t35.com/ this is the code <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="rtl" lang="he"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1255">
  10. Hi, I'm trying to include my top menu, I've done this many times before, but this is the first time I'm doing it with Hebrew language. the menu works perfect when it's just pure HTML, yet when I use the "include" I get gibberish...any idea how to solve this?
  11. great! thanks for your help
  12. ok... so let say I want to set the action to a different file to process it, but want the user to stay in the same page and also print the results, is there a way to do that? I guess I can just use "include" to keep the code clean...but still I was wondering if such thing is possible?
  13. Hi, I'm really at the beginning of the php tutorials so it's really a basic question... when processing the forms in the videos you set the "action" of the form to a different php file, does it make any difference if I decide to set the "action" to the same file itself? I just find it much more useful...
  14. Hi again I'm pretty new with PHP... any way after I restarted my pc it worked... next time I'll have a question I'll post the code as well 10X
  15. Hi, When I'm trying to use the POST method I can't get any result, but when changing to GET or REQUEST there's no problem... what could be the reason??
