    What is CPR?

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a combination of rescue breathing and chest compressions delivered to victims thought to be in cardiac arrest. When cardiac arrest occurs, the heart stops pumping blood. CPR can support a small amount of blood flow to the heart and brain to 'buy time' until normal heart function is restored.

    Cardiac Arrest

A cardiac arrest, also known as cardiopulmonary arrest or circulatory arrest, is the abrupt cessation of normal circulation of the blood due to failure of the heart to contract effectively during systole.

A cardiac arrest is different from (but may be caused by) a heart attack or myocardial infarction, where blood flow to the still-beating heart, is interrupted.

"Arrested" blood circulation prevents delivery of oxygen to all parts of the body. Cerebral hypoxia, or lack of oxygen supply to the brain, causes victims to lose consciousness and to stop normal breathing, although agonal breathing may still occur. Brain injury is likely if cardiac arrest is untreated for more than 5 minutes, although new treatments such as induced hypothermia have begun to extend this time. To improve survival and neurological recovery immediate response is paramount.

  2. Thanks Thelma. Everything you said was very helpful. I've taken to heart your advice and made the correct changes to the doctype and set the margins to 0 as you suggest.

As for the rock, I haven't put the rollover code in yet and just want to figure out the rollover links discrepancy on the page. Firefox shows my bg images much lower than they should be in the navlist. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  3. It might help you all to see the CSS as well, huh? My bad.

  5. Hi, I'm having issues. I have a navbar with images for links that is placing correctly in IE but in Firefox is pushed so far down that I can only see the very tops of the images. They are also being cut off, and I'm not understanding why it's coming up differently in the two browsers. This is the first webpage I've done from scratch (well with my bf's help) but since we're both newbs we're pulling our hair out. I have the file zipped (since it's not online yet) and was wondering if someone could take a look at it for me. Sorry if this seems like too easy a fix, but it's driving me crazy. Thanks.

  6. Hi, I'm on the 3rd video in the first package. I'm following along with Stefan but everytime he changes something in the index.txt file, it automatically saves to his html file too, and then refreshing takes just a second. But when I do the same things, I have to go back to Save As and rename it the index.html file (which just asks if I want to replace it, obviously). How can I link these together to save automatically? Thanks for the time and reply.

    -Ash.
