pnmorrison Posted April 2, 2009 Report Share Posted April 2, 2009 This page displays differently in IE and FF http://www.equanet.co.uk/cms/services/equanet_s_packaged_services/ Each paragraph of text is in fact a list item with the css rule>> { padding-left: 20px; background: transparent url("/search.gif") no-repeat left top; margin-bottom:20px; } Now i can give the li a width:100% (tho i know i shouldnt need to do this) to fix the issue in FF (the list items brush up to the image on right nicely) but this has the adverse effect of positioning the ul below the image where there is room for it to become 100% width. This is not wot we want either. Obviously i would like it to look the same in either browser, that is the li items to be flush with the image. Anyone know the solution??? Thanks in advance. Paul. Wickham Posted April 2, 2009 Report Share Posted April 2, 2009 It looks exactly the same in my IE7 and Firefox, the ul tag items are on the left of the image and spread around the bottom of it.
