Guest boowho
HI ALL: I'm very much (obviously) a noob..... I have a fairly simple Flash animation that contains a nested movieclip. I've reviewed Stefan's tutorial over on the blog, but still don't understand it completely. My anim is of a rotating cube with a two digit number on one side. When the cube rotates until the number is out of sight, the the number is supposed to be incremented by 1, so that when the number rotates back into view it is now one greater. I "kinda sorta" works, but not quite. I have attached a zip file of the .FLA source. The problem is that no matter what the value of the number, it always shows "00" as it disappears from sight, but shows the correct value when it re-appears into view. Then before it starts it's nest rotation, the 00 "snaps" back onto the face of the cube. Please help if you can. This shouldn't be much of a problem for an experienced Flash Designer/Developer. Thanks boowho?? Cube.zip
