Access based program to sort items

Hi would be great if someone can help on this.

First I am very new to web design so please excuse if I do not explain correctly.

I know the program exists as is in a lot of sites. I want to be able to sort a lot of items by size,color,type etc and then link to a picture. Think it is probably Access based.

Do you know where I can get such a program?
