I just went to Chrome > developer tools and have a similar view to what Jason illustrated above, and inspected the element. Any ideas where I will be able to edit the dimensions? I have searched index.php and sidebar.php but cannot see any dimensions.

Andrea and Jason, thanks so much. I have Chrome so I will use it now that I know about this inspect element feature. I looked for the dimensions but never found them and still am not sure how to find them to edit. Sorry for being such a newbie.

Thanks, Andrea, this is what it needed.

The home page does not show in the dashboard > pages so it was not possible to make changes there, but it was possible to go to header.php and change it there.

After making the changes in the two JasonDavis replies, the hyperlink no longer extends down into the search form, but still stretches too far left and right to the margins of the sidebar. I was noticing that Killersites.com has the same issue above in the logo hyperlink (it extends north and south too far) and the sign in hyperlink extends east (right) well beyond the underlined words.

I have looked but not found any way to enable default notification by email of replies to posts. Is it really necessary to enable this every time one posts? I have also been unable to find where you click to review all of your posts in one place. I managed to do a search and find them but another blogger that appears to use your same platform has a link, once you are signed in, that takes you to your posting history. Thanks.

My link The Home nav tab needs to be changed to News and this page does not show up in the dashboard editor so how may one edit it? I have searched in index.php but cannot find it and there is no navbar.php in the genesis-2 theme. Thank you!

My link I searched with no results for information on which rss readers others may have found useful in adding PHP feed content to wordpress web sites. The goal is to have (in addition to source and date stamp) text, headlines, summaries, and visual content with no borders, no background color, no scroll, that updates automatically and when a user clicks to read entire articles they should go to pages in our web site, not back to the source site. My link On top right of sidebar is an rss-icon.png and its hyperlink is way way larger than the .png image and I have searched for how to correct this with no luck so far. It is interfering with the search feature. Hoping luck will be found here. Thanks!

My problem is somewhat similar and hopefully as easily solved. http://marketmoodfor....com/wordpress/ Linked header logo (hdrlogo.gif) in header.php will not move up and left. I won't list how many things I have tried in header.php and style.css because they are all wrong. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
