Yea, Microsoft has a history of taking a look at what’s out there, and then they try to create their own version of it:
Java -> .NET
Wordperfect – > MS Word
Mac OS – > Windows
Ipod – > Zune
… In my young and brash days, I would say ‘copy’. But thankfully, those enthusiastic days have long since gone.

That said, we still have to remember that 80% of the world still uses Windows and so we have to look at what is put in front of them. That means IE8 WebSlices should be considered.

I use both Mac and PC. I have to be honest though, OSX is the best OS I’ve ever used.
… And I’ve been pretty much a Windows guy up until about 2 years ago. Vista pushed me into the Mac camp.
