I have a site up on godaddy,gregsguitars.net , I think I have pretty much pushed their format to its limits, using their template(s) what would be the next step to get a better site? and I am usally #1 through 3 on search results for vintage guitars on yahoo, how do you get higher ranking on google? Thanks

What do you mean by better? Something that looks better, or something that provides more for the user?

I would suggest building a site on either Wordpress or Drupal. Both are very good open source (i.e. you do not need to pay) content management systems. Both come with many freely available templates, and these can be modified at your leisure. You will be able to list similar items / posts, add a forum (with Drupal) allow people to leave comments etc. You will need a MySQL database (which even the most basic web host options should provide). However, not all servers are equal. I recently built a Drupal site for a client, and his server was not up to the task. But there are plenty of cheap servers that are better than GoDaddy.
